My Inner Summit Journey

Inner Summit Wellness was built from two worlds coming together:

  • My own personal love of outdoor adventure, and

  • Noticing that you want to get back to hiking, backpacking, or climbing, but there’s no clear, structured plan to help you do it safely and confidently.

For 20+ years, I’ve been hiking, backpacking, and exploring the outdoors. I have learned firsthand that confidence in your body doesn't happen suddenly, and must be built on uneven ground, enduring conditions, and unpredictable terrain.

Along the way, I’ve navigated through getting lost in the desert mountains while running low on water, battling altitude sickness on day two of a 7-day backcountry expedition with no way out, and fighting through severe knee pain while summitting Pikes Peak. Those experiences, as well as so many more, have shaped my respect for nature, resilience, and preparation.

As a Wellness Coach, founder of Inner Summit Wellness, and a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, I come with a deep understanding of anatomy, injury recovery, and the rehab process. I’ve worked with hundreds of indoor and outdoor athletes across a wide range of sports and activities, helping them rehab injuries to return to their activities and sports.

However, I repeatedly saw the same gap: people were cleared from PT because they were deemed "no longer medically necessary" by insurance, but still didn’t trust themselves on the trail or wall.

That’s why I founded Inner Summit Wellness. I wanted to provide 1:1 online wellness coaching to help you bridge the gap between finishing physical therapy and returning to hiking, climbing, and outdoor activities with confidence.

I help my clients become confident in themselves and truly trust their body to be adventure-ready.
